Modeling how do I get started?

I wanna start modeling but I don't know where to start any advice? I have some pics below.

It's expensive sweetie. You won't find jobs without an agency of some sort. most cities have at least a few talant and modeling agencies. They will take a percentage of anything you make. When you go in to be screened, don't wear much makeup, and keep your clothing simple. If they like your look, they will set you up with a photographer to set you up with a portfolio. This costs a couple grand. If you decide to find your own make sure he has experience in doing models portfolios. The types of pictures you will need is pretty specific if you want to find work. I hate to have to bring this up hon' but be prepared to get offered castings for plus size work. you are beautiful just how you are, but straight size is a very narrow span of sizes 0-5or6. If you want to do straight size work try pilades. It's not hard and it tones very quickly. Don't starve yourself though. And please don't obsess. If modeling doesn't pan out, you are still you, and have your whole life ahead of you. You will find other dreams....probably more fulfilling ones at that

You are very pretty. The first thing to do is get a professional portfolio taken. Then you can either get an agent or send the portofolio around to agencies in your area. You should also look into taking a modeling or acting class, that can really help you develop poses and learn more about the business. Also, check your local paper for modeling auditions. Good luck!

I dont know how old you are, you need to be rather thin, about six feet tall, and have some really stunning or interesting features. get really good professional photos taken, lots of head shots and some full length, you need your familys permission in writing if you are not over 18, send to every modeling representative you can think of, start with ones near your home. then check with local stores and shopping malls and ask if they are doing a fashion show for back to school or whatever, offer to model for them for free. It might work. Keep in mind these people see thousands of photos every day from all over the world, your chance is about as good to win a gigantic lottery. good luck

No disrespect, you have a gorgeous face!!! But you're too big for what the fashion industry deems fashion..go figure...they prefer waifs..Your arms are larger than toothpicks and your hair needs a chop, split ends and roots are showing...On the bright side you have a great body and face, so you need work, but I see potential..not many people can do this line of work, power to you if you can. I wasn't meaning to sound rude, just a tip on what I saw and from all the mags and tv shows I watch..

Be careful. Most modelling "agents" exist only to exploit you. Mainly, they charge you lots of money for 'proofs' and administrative stuff. The really bad ones will get you to sign a contract to do porn. Are you sure you want to get into this?

to be honest. you are too thick looking, or big boned. and there is nothing charismatic or unique about you.
i am chubby too. dont worry. every girl at some point in her life wants to try out modeling. you'll get over it. like i did. i'm getting my master's degree now..

Cut down on the eye makeup, go to LA or NY, and get lucky cause it's all about who you know.
