That "Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve" phrase is without a doubt the dumbest "reasoning" I've heard regarding homosexuality. I wouldn't use it if I were you. If god did create Adam and Eve, how does that necessarily proclude the future possibility of homosexuality? It doesn't.
_Exactly_ what does the Bible say about homosexuality? You should know more about the supposed details from your source. While you're quoting Leviticus 18:22, look at the other laws in the Mosaic Code, which that verse is a part of. Do you follow _any_ of those other laws? You should definitely look them up and be an informed Christian.
Who cares about a social norm of a far off culture a long time ago? Being a female, you should be thankful things are different! Things change. Anyway, later on Jesus had nothing to say about homosexuality.
One can't choose who they will fall in love with. Homosexuality alone isn't a detriment to society. Heterosexuality alone isn't a benefit. Some people are just selfish and don't care how they treat and affect others (which the Bible speaks against!). That's the detriment.

Hun, compared to a lot of straight people I'm an absolute angel and am most definitely going to heaven. So instead of coming on here spouting out the same old stuff that has been heard over and over again, why don't you focus your bible thumping on people like child molesters, murders or rapists, who we know definitely aren't going to heaven. If you could help maybe change one of them, the world would be a better place.
By the way, did you just compare two people loving each other to Hitler, who killed millions of jews in the Holocaust. You have issues hun... and that I definitely don't think is good for your children.

Okay here is the deal: by asking this question, you are limiting God and Christ. The bible does say that men should not lie with men and women with women because that is what the pagans do. It also says that gays will not inheriate the Kingdom of God. However, it also says that thiefs and murders and criminals won't inheriate the Kingdom of God. This is not something for us to decide. The fact is that I believe Christ is big enough to cover all sin, and if they are walking with Christ and living the Christian life and their heart is with God than I believe that Through Christ they are forgiven. This is a matter of belief and faith though. I can not tell you what to believe.

not being a very religious man i cant say much about your heaven but by a social standpoint gays and bi's are both detrimental to any society great or small. just look at the romans with there mass "bath houses" and royal orgies, and as mucha s it pains me to admit the nazi germans were also known to a have some gay play time. so many great or possable great society's have been broken from within due to these parasites that eat away at human dignity and deteriorate the moral standards that have been put in place.

Rephrase.
Good for your children's what?
If a person is a good person, takes good care of their children, gives the charity, helps people in need, and are trustworthy and fair in business dealings I can't honestly believe they are going to be damned because they are sexually attracted to one gender or another.
Who cares who they go to bed with? I've known many gay and bi couples who have children, and those kids have grown up to be kind, tolerant, open-minded good, intelligent people. Every single one of them.
If you believe in God, don't you think for a moment he CREATED gay people?
the passage in the bible you're hung up on says "Thou shalt not lie with a man as you would a woman, it is an abomination."
1: This completely lets lesbians off the hook. Bible has NO problem with lesbians.
2: We COULD interpret this to mean you shouldn't have anal sex with women.

Nobody is born gay. Some people struggle with homosexual temptation, but God loves them and wants to help them overcome it. People who continue living that kind of lifestyle without repenting and putting their faith in Jesus will not go to Heaven. Go to www.equip.org

Yes and yes. They are normal people, they just have different sexualities. Never teach your children to think that it's wrong, because its not. On eof my close friends is bisexual and you can't even tell, she's as normal as they get! But you have to think, what is normal, after all? There is no absolute definition on what is normal and what is not. So why should be judge people just because they're not like us?
