Im on birthcontrol and I never miss a day and sometimes me and my boyfriend have unprotected sex. I had my period this month but it only lasted for a day and was pretty light while my periods are always very predictable and last about 4 or 5 days. What is the chance that I could be pregnant?

Take a test. Your period could be affected by lots of things - stress (over having had unprotected sex), anything. If you're worried, see a doctor about it.

Have you had unprotected sex? If you ever missed a bc pill, and haven't had a period for at least six weeks it is a strong possibility. You can have a light period and still not be pregnant.

I had a very light period that lasted 8 days with my second child. Sometimes there is light bleeding when the embyo implants. I'd go to one of those "free" prenancy testing places and get tested. My 2nd wasn't a planned at all, and it was a difficult time in my life... but wow, what a beautiful woman she turned out to be. Don't freak out. Find out for sure and then make choices that your heart and mind can live with.

Take a test to find out for sure. Don't feel embarrassed, just go to the store and get a test. I'm on the pill and my periods are always very light. If you haven't been on the pill for very long, maybe you are just starting to change.
