My 5 yr old son wants to see Pirates of the Caribbean, Should I let him? He has a huge Imagination.

Mmm...depends. It may be a bit frightening as far as the pirates being "dead" and skeletal (they are essentially rotting, but it's not TOO bad) and then of course, there is some violence, sword killing and the like. It's primarily up to what you'd prefer your son to see. I personally don't see any harm in it. If he has a big imagination, he can probably tell the difference between real and pretend, etc.

Probably not. I wouldn't say it's a bad movie or anything, but it can definitely be taken somewhere by a 5-year-old with a wild imagination. It can also be rather frightening at times.

Yes you should. My son and my gf's son (both are 5) have seen pirates and I know my son loves it and is on the edge of his seat for the new one.

and i wouldn't suggest the second one either, it is PG-13
