This was a tough one, but I found an ounce of respect for him for signing the "Respect for Fallen Heroes Act," making it illegal to protest within 300 feet of a funeral.

Ya you cant say anything good about bush. But I can tell you this the saddest thing I know is the fact that a man like bush is in control of the most powerful country in the world. Look what we have become, we have given up almost all our right that our four fathers died for. In my mind the terrorists have already won. I know this does not answer you're question but i had to get it of my chest. Good luck my friend.

Well, let's see. He's lowered tax rates to ALL AMERICANS. It is true that the top producers ("the rich") got a larger proportion but that is simple economics. These top income braket people are the ones that make the most investments in the economy and can spur the most growth. SOOOO now the government is actually taking in MORE money because the economy has picked up so much steam.

Home Ownership for Black Americans has risen sharply to its highest rate ever. Unemployment for blacks is also lower than the average for the 90's.

He has appointed originalist judges who read the Constitution for what the Constitution says, NOT consulting foreign law or using their own ideas of what policy should be and thereby taking it OUT of the hands of the legislature and the voters. The Founders who wrote the document have been pretty much correct for 200 years and it's worked pretty damn well...and we DO NOT need another card-carrying member of the ACLU and devout feminazi like Ruth Bader Ginsberg to have another seat on this court....the same court who, thanks to liberal judges, has decided that the government has the right to confiscate private property in order to build commericial or industrial zones for private companies!

We have not had another terrorist attack on our shores since 9/11. Thanks to aggresive prosecution and incredibly efficient programs such as the phone tapping of terrorists making calls outside of the US, the SWIFT program which tracked bank records (after having the approval of Congress AND obtaining warrants) of terrorists in order to shut down their money supply, and taking down the barriers between the CIA and FBI that were put up during the Clinton Administration. (Quick Note for those who aren't aware: Bill Clinton was offered Osama Bin Laden when he was captured in Saudi Arabia; however even though Bin Laden was a principle planner for the attack on the USS Cole, he decided that he didn't have enough evidence to prosecute him and turned him loose...)

Bush allowed the "Assault Weapons Ban" to expire. Even though it has such a ghastly title, The Ban was simply emotional reaction to the Columbine Massacre by the CLinton Administration as he governed by popular opinion polls. The Ban made things such as a shotgun that holds more than 3 shells illegal...Barrell Length had to meet certain regulations...even semi-automatic rifles had to be redesigned because they could possibly be converted to Automatic. Basically a long list of government regulations abridging the Right of the people to Bare Arms.

Bush signed the Partial Birth Abortion Ban. For those not familiar, Partial Birth abortion is a procedure in which a child is pulled halfway out of the womb, stabbed in the base of the skull with a pair of scissors, and then has its brains sucked out with a small tube. This repulsive procedure has no place in a civilized society, and though Clinton vetoed it (TWICE!), it has finally been outlawed.

I could go on, but since you're probably either too mad or too bored to take much more, I'll stop here. ;-)

My basic point is that all the Bush Hating has just become so ridiculously out of control that people have demonized a man who is fighting for what he believes is right and what he believes will make America stronger and safer for my children and for my children's children. The man is not some nosey freak who walks around with a tin cup spy kit trying to listen in on you talking about your mysterious rash in "that area".

President Bush has made many, MANY mistakes as our President and I could probably list just as many mistakes as I have listed "good things" he has done. However, to take the point of view that he hasn't accomplished "one good thing" is a little crazy and, quite frankly, makes you look like a left-wing nut...or a Hollywood actor.

Does that help? I can always offer more. Have a great night!

How about more than one? Low taxes, low unemployment, booming economy, and no more skyscrapers have come crashing to the ground from terrorist attack.

It's okay to be a Bush-hater, but you have to do better than this. Gather a few facts and try applying logic and reason to a situation.

I've been trying to figure it out for the past 6 years. Still come up with nothing. If there is something, post it. It will be breaking news.

Let's see... oh so many to choose from. ow my brain hurts from the millions of things flooding my mind. From defending us after 911, to standing up for all of his beliefs, popular or not, from keeping our borders safe(because believe it or not, if there were no border patrol they would just go to Mexico to get into the US), to throwing his support behind reconstructing New Orleans, it goes on and on.

Creating that preserve around the Hawaiian Islands was a good thing...I'm not sure I trust his motives, probably just trying to boost his popularity, who knows, but it was still a good thing.
