I am Scottish but live in Canada. My family has an awesome culture of clans, kilts, bagpipes and hogmany in which is the best New Years Party you will find. In Scotland you even get an extra day off for Hogmany celebrations in which you first foot a neighbour or friend which is when you are the first guest of the year in someones house. Was the best New Years I ever had. SOrry I dont' have more for you I am not that much up on the culture but I should be more. You should try looking up Scotland and different counties and towns in the internet. ALso there is a rich whiskey tradition and golf too.
