They've got a very good shot at retaining the title. Obviously, they need to work on their defensive line and sacking the opposing quarterback.
However, the Steelers are always going to be tough... and now the Ravens look like they're correcting some of their problems.
I think this will be the best opportunity for Cincinnati to make a run for the Super Bowl because just about every starter on their offensive line will have their contracts expire at the end of this season. They can't resign them all. That will be a huge blow come 2007.

I think they have a chance. Some of this depends on the health of Carson Palmer and the continued improvement of the Bengal defense. They have all the weapons on offense. Chad, Rudi, and T.J. provide the Bengals with plenty of options and flexibility to attack defenses and many ways with the correct person behind the trigger. I thought they should have tried to keep Jon Kitna and tried to get a Marquee tight end this off season. The Addition of Sam Adams will upgrade the weakest aspect of their defense which was stopping the run. They have plenty of play makers and speed on defense with the continued improvement of LB Odell Thurman, DE Justin Smith, and CB Deltha O' Neal. However, their schedule is flat out the toughest in the NFL with 3 road games at KC, Pittsburgh, and Tampa Bay to start off the season. They also have to play the likes of the know Steve Mcnair led Ravens twice, the Steelers twice, Carolina, Atlanta, San Diego, the Colts and Denver. This is not the type of schedule to have with question marks at QB. I do not think they will repeat as AFC North champs. They might barley make it in as a wild card.

the answers, no they wont repeat look for the steelers or ravens to win the division, no chad can't keep his mouth shut and do his job, in the playoffs against the steelers after speaking out about how he'd burn deshea townshend he failed to perform leaving the team to be carried by rudi johnson and jon kitna, 4 rec for 59yds all in the first quarter, No i dont think that the bengals will make a run this year with Carson recovering from a major knee injury and the stigma of the bungals from past years. they still need to establish themselves as a consatant and relaible threat

Carson is an awesome QB and he will return and be really good this year.
Chad should keep his mouth shut until he delivers and is better. He has the potential but his actions and not words should speak for themselves.
The Bengals should win the division and will make the playoffs but Super Bowl - No.

No....Pittsburgh Steelers are still the team to beat in that division and in the league. Carson wont be ready to return in only 8 months from his injury, and Chad, as good as he is, wont shut up, but thats the good thing about him. No they wont make a Super Bowl run, I think that they are going to regress this year to 9-7 or even 8-8.

The ravens misplaced Jamals Lewis and that that they had no offense to start and an ageing protection. The bengals are nicely over-rated and have no D. They browns basically suck. The Steelers will end 1st extremely. final season replaced into basically via fact Rberger replaced into injury. first season ninety 8.6 qb score, 2nd season ninety 9 qb score, third seventy 5 (injured) so thats why. they have each and each of a similar ppl and there qb back. Nasty D with that LB middle and Troy is in all places. Parker is the quickest back interior the league and Hines is probably going one among the terrific WRs. PITTSBURGH worry-free choce. 13-3

If Johnson kept his mouth shut what fun would they be? So he likes to talk BIG DEAL. He backs it up. As to them repeating the big question there is Palmer and what shape will he be in. Espically since they gave up Kitna, who was a decent backup QB. Wouldn't say he could last a whole season but he could play a few games for you and do good. I don't think they will make a run for the Superbowl. They could do it though if Palmer is still good.

I think they have a great chance because the core is developed. They will need to run the ball better and play better defense. I think the passing game is all set. Don't worry about Chad shutting his trap since he just put it all on the field. They need someone to compliment his skill. They should repeat.

Depends on how well Carson Palmer recovers. If he comes back 100 % their chances are excellent!
