Why do people like johnny deep so much? I mean he's not sexy as orlando bloom. and he's hideous. TELL ME WHY YOU GUYS LOVE HIM SO MUCH?

I can only assume that you are of the school aged group moogle. That isnt a bad thing, but it just means that you are not to the point of being able to appreciate that Mr Depp. although he may be old in your eyes, has great talent and has earned the adoration of his fans. I have watched his career grow over the years. He once was the "hot young star" that you put so much stock into. But behind his pretty face, there was a talented actor just waiting to be seen. You may not like this answer or think it holds any water right now, but I guarantee you that ten years from now, you will think back to this and say, "ohhhhhh. Now I get it." and by the way....I happen to think BOTH Orlando AND Johnny are hot properties. Old ladies like myself can see just as well as you girls! Widen your horizons and you might just see more than the obvious.

Because unlike Orlando Bloom he is mysterious, his little quirks are what make Johnny Depp, Johnny Depp. Orlando Bloom is child-like next to Mr. Depp, being sexy is not all there is in life, how about some experience,
how about maturity, how about know how to act, now these are qualities Orlando Bloom does possess and that is why Mr. Depp beats Orlando Bloom hands down. Some people seem to think Orlando is cute, he is like that of a child, Mr. Depp is handsome.like that of a man.

i totally agree that he's not as sexy as orlando, but come on who is? i like johnny deep because since his come back he's yet to make a bad movie, he doesn't need the money anymore i mean he has his own island to live in kids and a wife and all that good stuff, yet when a good script comes his way he still does it, i think that makes for a very good actor becuase he's all about the story and not about the money. he's not that attractive i just think his mind and his humor is attractive.

Because back in the day......Johnny Depp WAS "our" Orlando Bloom. he's not all that sexy to you...but to the ppl that grew up with him, he's still a sexy man.

ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? Johnny Depp...is...so..JOHNNY! I never really liked him until Pirates of the Caribbean 1 came out and he played Jack Sparrow(BOY WAS JACK SPARROW HOT) I like him because he seems like a man and not a boy as Orlando Bloom!

well, maybe people likes him because he is a talented actor and he is funny. He might not be cute as Orlando Bloom (as you said) but he is good. "Do not judge a book by it's cover" have you heard of that? Also he plays in the Pirates of the ________.(do not remember how to spell it). But necessary, I DON"T LOVE HIM!
