The man may have his faults, but I don't see too many other MDs spending their vacations working in a free clinic in Africa.

As odd as it sounds, some, conditions can easily be diagnosed by sight only. But who the Hell would want that.
The Senator is a big playa in HCA, which ownes over 150 hospitals, maybe it makes him feel more in touch
His license should only be revoked for actions and he has done a lot of good as the other person mentioned....then again

Perhaps the good senator is a Major Dummy ... not a Medical Doctor.
As for the other answer that said he didn't see many MDs working their vacation in free clinics in Africa ... that's because you aren't there. If you were, you would see lots of them!

Senator Bill First should do more for stem cell research instead of diagnose patients by video, and it is my honest opinion.

I personally think so. From some testimony I have heard, including his stupid comments involving AIDS and Terri Schiavo, he is a totally unfit physician. My father is a well-known doctor, and he is terrified that such a man could obtain an MD. He disgraces the medical profession.
