(besides the obvious enjoyment that comes with annoying scores of people)

i think someone meant 'warranting.' in any case, this question wasn't meant to bring out the hositility in the insecure, i seek only thoughtful answers. perhaps if i'd written 'we' instead of 'you' ...

It can be viewed as an opportunity to learn something new I think. I myself use this medium for a multitude of purposes, often the question and answer part mean nothing at all to me; it's the insights culled or gathered that matter; seeing how and why they think what they think and expanding on that premise towards other thoughts and possible goals. I think one can gain a fairly clear view of the future by reading the answers of the younger participants, and certainly a deeper understanding of why things are the way they are by reading the answers of the older participants. Maybe this helped you? Maybe not, but I'll read the other responses and hopefully learn just a little more; after all I don't really understand what this issue is about. Thank you for this question/comment, it was interesting.

I've wondered the same thing...but I've realized that for the most part,in spite of posted rules, the vast majority of questions here should best be asked in CHAT ROOMS,and not this forum. Some of us are actually trying to get answers to REAL questions. But,since obviously school's out all over the US now,we are plagued with adolescent crap that should be redirected to "My Space" or some equally inane forum so the kiddies can play.Or better yet,STAY AWAY .

Better yet,DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER WHAT THEIR KIDS ARE DOING ONLINE AT ALL HRS OF THE DAY AND NIGHT???

When I was a kid, there were no computers. We hung out ...in my neighborhood there were acres of woods to explore,,,and we did.And we had curfews. It seems that's fallen by the wayside .

Just a thought.(BTW,I've been online since 1987...things were VERY different then....we stayed up online and the children were asleep, usually. And those that were AWAKE were actually GIFTED.They could even SPELL.)What a concept.

The same effect as you asking typically mundane questions for the same response! You have annoyed us all by asking a mundane, if not, rhetorical question. Not warrenting a response!!!!
