i reported it to the police. it appears that somebody is having sex on my rooftop in my caribbean place. i only go there once a week so the place is empty. i have an outside ladder that goes up to the concrete rooftop. i discovered a mens underwear with stains on it. the police does not want it for evidence, but what complicate things is my neighbor told me that he knew the guy who came up there with his girlfriend. and i saw him yesterday in the store. what should i do? should i tell him that i know what he is doing and not to do it again on my property or report his name to the police or return his underwear without saying anything?

I would confront him and tell him to stay off your roof.I'd also put on some gloves(disposable ones) and return his under ware to him and watch his expression.Tell him when your not there you have people watching the place for you and he was trespassing.
Who knows what else might happen to your roof,someone may damage it.

Well I don't know the property laws involved but here a person is liable if someone is injured on their property even if the person was tress passing. so I would let the guy know you know it is him I would hand him his undies in a very public place and tell him he left these on you roof top tell him you know they are his because you had them tested for DNA that would scare the crap out of him. Tell him you have informed the police and that people are watching the place while you are not there. He will deny everything but he will not be back.

Ask the police to keep an eye on your place and to please arrest anyone who trespass on it. Ask your neighbor for the name of the person who is doing this. Then have your lawyer draft a letter to the offender warning arrest if he comes onto your property. No Pun, sorry! You might want to installed motion detector lights on the roofs. You may want to pay your neighbor to regularly check on your place or have timer lights go on in your house to ward off other offenders. Good luck!

Do you REALLY need our advice on how to tell a suspected trespasser to stay off your property? Or whether or not you should return his shorts to him?
