If your cycle is generally longer than three days, you're sexually active and not using contraception...then yes, you could definitly be pregnant. Pick up a home pregnancy test and see what the results are. If it's negative and you're still unsure, make an appointment with a doctor.

And it is possible to have bleeding while you're pregnant. It happens to a lot of women. I know one woman who had her period up until her 5th month of pregnancy.

Just because your period only lasted three days does not mean you are pregnant. You could be but you need to add more details. Have you had unprotected sex? Do you have any other pregnancy symptoms? It's not really a period that pregnant women get. It's actually just spotting or implantation bleeding. So if you are bleeding from a medium to a high amount than you probably are not pregnant. There are many factors that can change your period like stress or eating habits. The only way to know for sure is to go to your doctor or take a pregnancy test but if this is your only symptom then I doubt you are pregnant.

It could be bc of stress, hormones, or your cycle is changing. Do you take any forms of birth control or recently got off some type of birth control? This can affect your period. It is possible that you are pregnant but most likely you aren't if you are having a period even though there are cases where you're pregnant and you continue to have a period. I know a few people who had this happen to them. If you take a test and it comes back negative talk to your doctor. Your doctor will know what to do.

Pick up a home pregnancy test. If you've never had three day periods before something is probably wrong. If not pregnant go to the doctor. My period is always 7 days it doesn't vary. some people have 3 day periods but it's always that way.

honestly I don't think it is highly likely. It is dependent upon the "flow" as well. Some people only have 3 day periods to begin with. If you want to be sure, take a pregnancy test. The test will be able to pick up on the hormone because your "missed period" has already passed, correct? Good luck.

I've heard that menstrual cycles that last 3 days are very normal. Not every woman gets it for 5 days, we're all different. Obviously if you were pregnant, you wouldnt be having your period.

Well...one can be pregnant and still have a period, and one can have a shorter than usual period. Either way, you need to go to a doctor. Don't be afraid to go and don't procrastinate. Best of luck.
