No, it's not. It might feel like that at first, but the feeling fades a bit over time. I happen to know that addictions get stronger. Still, enjoying something on the internet this much can't be totally healthy. : )

Oh yes it is! Once I start I can't stop, I'll go days without answering but then when I start, I'll spend hours in front of my computer answering away! Maybe we should start a Yahoo Answerers Anonymous!

Completely. I can't stop. Just when I think that's it, I'm turning off the computer, another question catches my eye and I think oooooooooh I could answer that!! And then I'm back on here checking 1hour later to see if anyone has answered my questions and then the next day to see if I got voted a best answer. I can't leave it alone, it's like a scab. The more you pick at it the worse it gets but you just can't leave it..............................

No Pollyanna here. What I found addictive was the ability to try and HELP PEOPLE...as many as possible. I began in mental health since I have a disorder myself. I am pretty limited from the community due to my disorder, and I find Yahoo Answers a community...a place to help. Not to boast, but the people who voted me "best answer" obviously appreciated my help. I appreciate theirs.

Not really, It amuses me to help out other people as well as bash idiots however I can stop just fine whenever I need to. That and the limited answer thing doesn't help.
