It was either that or Dell notebook.. I only wanted to use it for wordprocessing and wifi internet.

Trust me... you're gonna' be much happier with the Mac in terms of connectivity, plug and play, graphics, ease of use, piece of mind from viruses, and the list goes on and on.

It's acceptable for that...but ONLY for that.
You would have been much better off with an Intel based system. Not only is performance better but everything of consequence is made for this type of computer....much of it ONLY for this type of computer. Dell is the best one.

I have a Dell and I still kind of wish that I would've gotten a MacBook.
But, you will be just fine =)
