Charles is heir to throne and I don't think he'd abdicate. I think its wrong to say that nobody likes him, so he's made a few mistakes in life, haven't we all! In my opinion this should make it easier for the public to relate to him and make him the peoples monarch. I can't blame him if he wants to be George after his coronation, Kings named Charles don't really have a good track record in this country! I hope that the public do accept Camilla as Queen, she is so supportive to Charles and makes him look happy and relaxed, isn't this what a Queen should do for the King? It annoys me that people go on about how she's not the prettiest woman alive but as long Charles and Camilla and happy it doesn't really matter and they have my support!

Charles will be the next monarch when the Queen passes away. Trinitytough to state that no-one likes Charles is a bit of a sweeping statement, I and the majority of the citizens of Britain do. He's going to fulfill his lifelong grooming to become our next monarch. And to those who say his mother will make him abdicate, it's surely obvious, since she's still our ruler herself, that's not her way. Some commoners might want to tell Royalty what to do but she's a traditionalist and as such will expect her son, rightly, to follow her to the throne.

In the current way of royalty, Prince Charles is next in line. Abdication is out of the question, Camilla seems to be being accepted by the British public and she seems to be happy with her role as Princess Consort.

I think that is will be Charles Phillip Arthur George, Prince of Wales. However, His Royal Highness has intimated that he may use the regnal name George VII instead of Charles III.

Charles, unless he dies before his mother or chooses to give up his place in line in favour of his son, William.
This would be a very popular move in the eyes of a great number of British subjects.

Charles,if he doesn't die before his mother. I think Queen Elizabeth will stay queen until she dies. Her mother lived to be 101.Charles might have a long wait.
