Its not ... Conservatives think everything is left-wing biased and Liberals think everything is right-wing biased ... the simple fact is that humans are incapable of presenting facts in a completely objective way ... thank god some of us have the intellectual ability to develop our own opinions.

If you mean to tell me that fox news is fair and that everything else is on the left, you must have taken the whole political spectrum and shifted it lightyears to the right. In other words, calling President Bush on his blatant violations of the law is not liberal, but factual. Wanting to preserve the constitution could be liberal, but it is more of an american value. Also the words "non stop liberal spin" are very vague, and many conservatives use these words because they can't actually name one liberal who has twisted one single fact.
And by the way, fox news is not balanced, they are on the right wing. Honestly, I would not have a problem with it if the reporters at fox news who are on the right wing would simply say that they are. Nothing is wrong with conservative or liberal editorial, as long as you state that you are indeed giving editorial.

Fox News is fair and balanced? Ha! You need to do some research.
The people who control/are involved in the main stream media are generally youthful idealists. Thus, liberals.
Still better than Fox News though... Fox News is the spawn of Satan.............

Think of the people who you went to school with and wanted to be writers......
Now, put them in an office where they don't have much say about what gets into the papers because their paychecks come from car dealers and energy companies and other advertisers. The result is what we have: stories with a left bias that only get put into the newspaper if they promise not to offend big business, and as long as they encourage people to buy crap they don't need. For example, there might be a story about Global Warming, but instead of telling people not to drive, they tell them to buy Hybrid cars or call their congressman to spend more money on research into fuel cells.
You need to read this story about Fox News:

Fox News is owned by the wealthiest ultra-conservative in this country. He tells his news people what to say and when to say it. He tells them what not to say and what to omit. This all came out when a fair number of his employees, those with a modest amount of scruples, didn't chose to be puppets.
As to the rest of mainstream media, ABC tends to lean towards the conservative. NBC and CBS try to be as impartial as possible, believe it or not. There are, of course, mistakes made. But these seem to be fairly and honestly admitted.
As to PBS, they HAVE to remain fair and impartial. If not, the Republican controlled houses would have pulled their funding years ago.
By the way, Laura Bush listens to PBS radio regularly, or so she has admitted.

70% of the media IS more left-wing than right, but then you have the nutzo right-wingers to more than make up for it.
It's hard to explain what I mean quickly, but what I'm saying is that, yes, most of the media is liberal, but the conservative portion is violently loud and grating. And if you're refering to Bill O'Reilly being balanced I laugh. Hysterically. He seems balanced because he's a hard moderate republican and counteracts the greater portion of liberal media.

I agree. I have completely stopped watching all news channels except fox news. I also started listening to a.m. radio to get the facts about what is going on.

Well, there ARE those who feel that everything to the left of Darth Vadar is "left wing" ... lol. I'd say the media is, in the long run, neither left nor right, but firmly corporate.
