I keep getting these pains in my lower abdomen, and lower back I've already had my period, so I know it can't be that. During my periods, I get intense cramps in both my back, and lower stomach, so badly that it causes me to cry, and I can't get comfortable. No medicine has worked to relieve my pain. I've had kidney problems before, so could that have something to do with it?

I had a kidney stone about a year ago, and I drink nothing but water. My mom told me to drink a lot of water, but that's all I drink.

You could have cystic ovaries or endometriosis. I would definately get to the gynocologist and have some tests run.

You might have endometrosis.
It is very painful.
I had it and kept telling the doctor about it.
He acted like all women experience pain.
Not to sound gross but he wouldn't help me.
Then one day I started passing clots.
I finally get in with another doctor and, He could tell there was a growth on my right ovary and sent me for a sonogram.
By the time I had a doctor who would help me the endometrosis had gone into cancer in the first stage.
By this time I had to have a total hysterectomy!
This was 20 years ago and I'm very grateful for the second doctor because I might not still be here today if the second one hadn't took me serious.
I was only 30 years old at the time.
So have it checked out to be on the safe side.
You will be glad you did and if you don't get any answers by all means get a second opinion.
Also search one of the webs for endometrosis.
It will go into more detail of the disease.
I hope this will help you and give you information
Good luck!

It sounds like the pain I had with a kidney stone. Has it been happening for a few weeks, a few days, or a few hours? If it's weeks, you probably aren't passing a stone. If it's days or hours, it's more likely. People who have a kidney stone are more likely to have more stones. Water is the best thing to prevent them, but other things go into their formation.

If this is recurring, you should talk to your doctor. It could be a dozen different things, some simple and some more dangerous. It's better to rule out the dangerous possibilities.

What kind of kidney problems did you have? How long have these symptoms occured? Kidney stones that are near the bladder or in the bladder can cause these symptoms. You should goto your doctor especially if you have had a prior condition.

Then again it could be something else, talk to you doctor about it.

That happened to me a few years ago, and it turned out to be muscle spasms near an ovary. I completely sympathize with every guy who's ever been kicked in the stones, because that's exactly what it felt like. If you have access to muscle relaxers, you can try them. I don't remember what made my spasms go away other than time.

You could also be ovulating. I had the same pains for a few months and the doctors couldn't find anything. The pain eventually went away on it's own. I would recommend going to see your doctor and getting a prescription for the cramps. It worked really well for me when I had intense cramps when I was younger.

It is possible. You could have a urinary tract infection or even a bladder infection. If you are really concerned go to the doctor. If it gets worse, got to the emergency room. Better safe than sorry.
