I like some of the new stuff but I think the older music is music history.

Not better but, in my opinion, their current CD "A Bigger Bang", ranks among their better ones for sure. I'd probably rank it about #12 in my personal Stones top twenty! (The Stones are my favorite band, by the way.) Every album from "Beggar's Banquet" through "Exile On Main Street" is an unparalleled classic in my book!
("Some Girls" ranks right up there with those as well.)

I really do not like the new Stones music. Nothing beats the original music. I think a lot of the old groups try to conform to the newer music and it's just not them!!!

The Rolling Stones should have retired about 30 years ago! They haven't had a "good" album since Exile on Main St.

Of course not. I have what i like to refer to as my six album theory . I think that all groups peak at album five or six anything after that is of lesser quality. So most of them should just quit making albums . Any takers ?
BTW my favorite Stones album is Let it Bleed
