Wellmany things. i work as a teacher and the woman i work with keeps bringing her daughter to work with her. I am asking this becauase it seems everyone is talking behind my back but I dont want to affect my job because I like it. Everyone I work with is Mexican and I am bilingual. We have babysitting where I work but my daughter has a reflux problem and threw up when one of the bosses happened to be there. Now I am in a fight with her because she is saying my daughter is special needs which pissed me off because she is smarter than all those kids she is with combined. I am wondering if I should just leave it alone or try to talk to her again. She does many of the interviews and I am scared I wont get the jobs now. She was very cold and mean but I dont know what to do.

ok, this one I can answer truthfully. Why, because it happened to me. Someone said something so bad that another persons job was on the line. I spoke up in defense of the employee who was about to be fired. I told them all I knew with the exception that my name not be revieled. As a result, the employee was not fired, but everyone was mad at me because I came forward. Somehow, all found out it was me. In the end, everyone made my life a living hell and I wound up quitting my job. I am actually doing alot better now and am stress free. Luckily I didnt need my job that much or else I would still be there suffering. Bottom line is , if you really need your job, look the other way. No one will give you a raise or promotion for being a narc, even though it should be the right thing to do.

It depends on management and precedent. Is this something nobody else does and is against company policy? If it is, it would be the right thing to say something but you need to consider how management has handled such issues in the past. I don't know anything about your company or where you are, so can't really answer better than this. A helpful suggestion about a possible solution better for everyone involved is always better than a complaint, though. If management is not receptive to proposed solutions, silence is golden until you can find a better place to work for.

Pass a note to your district manager that you are concerned over losses this might be creating. But it does depend on the work you are doing and who or what is doing the wrong thing. If it is a group of people, they may have all learned wrong. If it is just one person doing it all the time, you could take it out of your store or business and pass it on to the department head anonymously. Good Luck!

Depends on what it is and how you go about saying it. 1# is it any of your business? 2# Is it something that can be done a variety of ways and they aren't doing it your way? 3# If you were trained to do something a particular way and they are not doing it correctly then I think you have reason to mention it to them.

Always say something, it will improve your workplace and the person you are correcting -- just find the appropriate time / place to share the info, and find a way to say it tactfully

It depends on who it is, and the what they are doing... There are sometimes it's better to speak up, sometimes it's better to keep quiet... More details would help...
