My favorite sport to watch is baseball! GO WHITE SOX GO!! A close second for me is hockey then followed by football.
My favorite sport to play is also baseball but I do like playing hockey, basketball and volleyball too.

Each team only plays once a week, so the build up is so great.
There is tons of strategy involved unlike other sports. each team researches and prepares a plan for each opponent.
Rivalaries. Tons of them.
Smash talk, Trash talk from loyal fans.

The Super Bowl. only one game, unlike a series of games.
The Super Bowl has become an unofficail national holiday.

Basketball because it's fast-paced. But I also love to watch gymnastics and ice-skating, especially during the Olympics.
