We have a group of 8 and we range in age from 13-22

Just came back from a trip to Oakland....we found a great Vietnamese restaurant in downtown oakland called Le Cheval. Very good food at reasonable prices.
In between lunch and dinner, you could go to the Oakland zoo...they have some cute baby giraffes!

In Oakland, go to Jack London Square. Lots to do; lots to see. Take a water taxi, visit the Potomac, FDR's presidential yacht. Eat on College Avenue (Rockridge). Go to the Tiki Lounge...best funky decor on the street.
