There are several books out there called Necronomicon, all of which try to leverage the writings of H.P. Lovecraft in some way. Personally, I feel that "the dreaded Necronomicon of the mad Arab Abdul Alhazred" is much more terrifying when left to the imagination.

If you mean the copy you find at the local bookstore near you, then I would assume you are into Summarian mythology, because that's basically what it is.

There's a lot of debate about what the actual Necronimican was and if it even existed. Some speculate that it was an invention of H.P. Lovecraft for his fiction. There's even a legend that says the real one was last seen during WWII and that the Nazis seized it in their quest for power.

Basically, I'd take it all with a grain of salt

LOL, the necronomicon is a load of crap...

that all depends on what version u speak of, if u talking about Sumerian mythology than perhaps, but if u talking about that load of crap u can find in any book store, i have one word for ya, GULLIBLE

me. it scared me at first because i wasn't sure with as to it's authenticity. but now... i know it's crap. i just can't believe.


p.s. - i'm fired... bring in the new me. he's taller, better looking and he's gullible.
