I am trying to open a game and the message...?

The procedure entry point _AIL_set3D_sample_distances@12 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll.
what does this mean, and what should i do?

go to windows updates and download the latest updates

what is that type of game? if that is .exe no problem, but if you installed that from an unstrusted source its probably culprit program re-download it from the source
