The statue of liberty,she has held a light of hope for millions of people from around the world and a promise of a better life that came true for many.
Uncle sam wants YOU,for your money,your service to him and those in power and a promise you might get killed in war.
NO uncle SAM is now uncle GEORGE and he doesn't hold out a light of hope,he holds out a hand for your money and health.
I knew an uncle George once he lived with a friends mother and was at first very nice to her children until he became to,to nice with them,he broke their trust like another george is doing now to the people he's suppose to care about,haa!

The Statue of Liberty. She is welcoming, whereas Uncle Sam is demanding.

She could use some deodorant, though. But at least she shaves her armpits, which is quite remarkable considering she is French.

I would say the Statue of Liberty because it is a sign of what America used to be. When immigrants first came to America from Europe the first thing they saw was the statue. It was a sign of hope that gave people a sense of security that they were leaving their oppresive nations behind and starting a new life in the land of opportunity.
