You can get messenger from http://messenger.yahoo.com/
If your 360 profile is being linked from your the messenger instead of a regular profile, here's how to change that:
- Go to http://360.yahoo.com/
- Click on "Settings" near the upper right.
- Scroll down to the "Yahoo! Identity Display" section.
- Select the first "Display me as" option under your user ID.
- Save the changes.
That way your old profile will show up on messenger.
