Doesn't exist.

Do you mean the atheistic argument of the lack of god's existence? Well, most atheists aren't born into an atheistic family, but most become atheist for 2 main reasons:
1. God can't exist because there are too many horrible things going on for it to be possible that an all powerful being lives and does nothing about.
2. They have suffered some horrible tradgedy at the hands of a "believer" in God, and therefore feel he doesn't exist, because of the hypocrisy they see among thoes that claim do believe in Him.

Something else that make people think he doesn't exist is their strong faith in science. Supposedly you can see and prove scientific facts, but God is invisible and therefore unexistent.

George Carlin, an unlikely source, said it best, I'm afraid. Religious types argue that there is a LITTLE MAN IN THE SKY, watching our every action, hearing our every thought, and judging us. This man in the sky knows everything and is present everywhere...but he's not so good with money, so he needs donations all the time.

Seriously, the basics are that 1) the world is full of religions, each arguing that IT is the ONLY true religion and that infidels/non-believers are going to hell and 2) it is impossible for all of them to be correct and quite improbable that any one of them is and 3) god is a contruct of man, an "opiate of the masses" created to make us all feel better about ourselves and to fill in huge gaps in our knowledge of who we are, where we came from and where we go when we die.

Another argument against god's existence is that in light of the world full of suffering and pain we live in, a world where innocent children starve to death and suffer from numerous diseases and affictions every day, if there truly is a god he would not permit such conditions, therefore he likely does not exist.

(Personally, I think he may well exist or may not, but may simply be either unable or unwilling, for whatever reasons, to intervene in our little lives).

I don't think that the atheist has anything solid to support his belief. For example, the person that wants "God" to be removed from the Pledge of Allegience does not even have enough proof to support his case. He was interviewed in a Christian Station and he couldn't even answer the interviewers simple questions.

As human beings we have been created to worship God. However, people choose to worship themselves, money, fame, power, etc. Things that they cannot take with them when they die. I believe our soul lives on and it's up to you were you want your soul to go. Christ gives us His free gift of salvation, but people refuse it because they think they have to change first or they don't want to change. The key is to receive Christ, then allow the Holy Spirit to change you.

You only know the truth if you read the whole Bible. It is very easy for people to say that Christianity is incorrect, specially when they are ignorant about it.

Things happen for a reason. It is very easy for someone to say "Why does God let this happen?" How about thanking Him for having a life because you don't know when it will be your last day. There is plenty of Proof that there is a God. People ask for miracles not even noticing that waking up every morning itself is a miracle. Many people take things for granted. Maybe all those things happen to show us how to be greatful for what we have. To teach us to share with others and not be selfish. To teach to help someone out in need. Things also happen because of the choices people make.

A life without a God? How would life really be? There would be no laws. People would do whatever they wanted to do. Your children wouldn't be able to go to school without the fear of someone thrying to rape them. People would destroy this world. Think about it.

God bless you!!!!

the atheists see no convincing evidence of the existence of God, but think rather that God was invented by fearful and ignorant people to explain away their problems and give false hope. It has degenerated into a system of exploitation of the ignorant masses by the wiser minority of crafty manipulators ( churchs, priests, popes, etc) it is really that simple. they do not offer anything to argue for God's existence but instead deny he or it exists at all.
They feel the burden is on the religiosos to prove the existence of God since they postulate it, and it is not the duty or obligation of the atheists to disprove it.

It pretty much boils down to the fact that there is not enough proof to prove that there is some form of a deity. Science helps prove that it wasn't necessary for a "god" to be there for the universe to have come into existence.

Why do you want an argument? He just doesn't exist! If you want an OPINION on why he doesn't exist, there are MANY! All you have to do is pick a particular god topic, and I'll gladly refute it!

Athiests do not have to prove the non-existence of God. The burden of proof is on the one that makes the claim.

The atheist has so many contentions regarding God's existence. (I)There are no verifiable consequences of the existence of God as there are for scientific entities, even for atoms and quasars. (II)There is lack of virtues and human values. (III) There is clash and war between classes in the very name of God. There is, thererfore, no God.

God's existence is what each one of us believe in our hearts, soul and mind. The "God" that someone believes in is your aspect of what you believe. Whether it's real or not.
