Why is it that morals have become a bad thing? Why is it wrong to feel like you want to be a good person and do the right thing? Why is it so popular to be bad?

Morals and being a good person have never been a "bad" thing. You should do the right thing because it's what you believe in, not because it has bearing on your popularity or what you perceive in the media like on TV, magazines or movies.

Remember, you take responsibility and accountability for your own actions which ultimately define you as a person whether you're a good person or otherwise. Let your own judgement and beliefs guide you to your moral center.

Our society, and country's laws, etc. were based on the Word of God (the Holy Bible). They were followed closely by the Puritans and other religious groups and worked well for the general public as long as Biblical morality and "the golden rule " were taught and followed. Somewhere along the way through history our country lost that heritage(possibly post world war 2, or the rebelling in the 1960s) and now with the onset of globalization and technology along with affluence our culture has become selfish and immoral. Although it now seems "wrong" to be moral, seeking the absolute truth of the Bible and Jesus Christ's teaching and following them is really the right thing to do! Not only will you stand as a light in darkness, but you will be noticed by others who are doing the same. There are many others out there who do live morally and do not succumb to worldly pressure to conform and live a "lie". (I hope this answer helps!)

Morals haven't become bad, they just don't exist in the lives of many people. They see in the media that being bad benefits you. You see all of these rap and rock stars that are thugs and drug users. There are athletes that use performance enhancers and huge egos. When people see these people and their habits they make a connection that having that kind of life can make you rich and famous.

its really not, its all about self perception, if i am good and the crowd is bad, if i feel good enough about myself and my morals, then its not so bad, whats bad is being peer pressured into someone elses low morals!

Um, I don't see it that way at all. Anyone like that is paying way too much attention to the media and influence of society and probably the music industry.

It's much easier for people to be bad. They don't have to consider what is right. If they don't see a consequence, they'll do it.
