I live in Nigeria. where can i open account without being there and can i transact the account without travelling to the bank? whether transfer or pay for merchandise.

The nearest you can come to something like that is a credit card, which is why it is so popular. Check major credit card companies -- I know MasterCard and especially Visa are accepted in most of the world.

First of all I would like to apologize for all people that are rude to you. You have to understand that we have a lot of very bad experiences with Nigerians, but that does not mean that everybody is the same.

Unfortunately you will not be able to open an account in any US bank unless you have valid address and proper federal identification.
