Absolutely. It's rarely used, but can be uniquely effective in family court. While describing your stupidity during marriage and one year prior to marriage, cite examples, consequences of your ignorance and poor judgment, and try to make references to other people - family, friends,work associates - who can support your claim of intollerable, irreversible stupidity, hence your asking the court to annul the marriage on the basis that you never gave much thought to the marriage in the first place and didn't realize it would turn out the way it did. Whamo....it's annuled.

No. If being stupid were a ground for annullment, every marriage would be subject to annullment by virtue of the parties being stupid enough to get married in the first place.

I have yet to hear of stupidity as the reason for annulment. If that were the case, a good handfull of my friends would have sought annulments.

I wish because I need an easy out of my marriage, divorce is to expensive. Yes I know it's worth it but I just can't afford it. Good luck.
