yes they have the authority too,,and yes any road in any state,,but here,s is a bit of info,,you might like,,99% of them wont stop you if it,s raining,,and that is a well known fact,,same with the state police,,if your not breaking the law very severely,,they wont bother you,,but be care full,,there is always,s the new guy wanting to make a name for him self,,hope this help,s some.

YES and in most states they are SAME AS HIGHWAY PATROL so it is not just commercial vehicles but any-ask some of the smart A$$ u-haul drivers that blow past the FLORIDA POINT OF ENTRY-LOL!

yes they check ur weight,what type of fule your running when then last time u weighed etc.
