If it were me, you would be out of my life, for good. If you don't respect her any more than that, she doesn't need you. Any woman who has to go to work with a hickie is talked about and ridiculed. Every woman deserves to be treated better by the man who says he cares about her.Since you purposely did this, you are an idiot, to think that she should be less mad at you. I don't see anywhere that you are saying you regret your decision to, deliberately, embarrass her. That says how much you care about her feelings, and it's obviously, not much.
You should be ashamed of yourself! She should find someone who cares enough about her to respect her, and that will show her more compassion than you have!

I think that is wrong! I think hickies are discusting!! Why do you have to mark her before she goes to work? If you don't trust her than let her go! I would be mad too! It looks very tacky especially if you work with the public or anywhere for that fact! You need to grow up and realize that is she is with you it's because she cares for you and probably isnt' going to cheat on you. If you don't trust her then let her go.

She's not just mad about the hickie, she's mad about the lack of respect you have for her. You did it on purpose. She had to deal with funny looks and snickers. She had to try to put make up over it. It looks unprofessional. You didn't think about those things, just your need to mark her. Apologize, and don't do it again.
