I have 2 birth control babies. My oldest was conceived while I was on the patch and my youngest was conceived while I was on the Nuva Ring. Their father and I took care of our responsibilities, got our own place, we've never used welfare, and we are great parents to our beautiful daughters. My kids were NOT mistakes, they were surprises. did I mention that I was pregnant once before these 2? My fiance and I were using condoms then. I was told by my doctor that I have an extremely high fertility rate. My fiance also has a high sperm count. Put those 2 together and you have babies coming out the yin yang. I got an IUD after having my youngest. It's supposed to be one of the most effective forms of birth control. My daughters are 1 and 2 now and still not pregnant with another. And about the life thing, All my is right, life doesn't begin until you have kids. I love my kids more than anything and anyone who doesn't think that children are a blessing should have their head examined.

I have 4 kids born 15 months apart, and i tried for over a year to have kids with my husband, and we finally did, I knew i wanted another one fairly close, which happened, then our plan was to wait about 4 years then have 2 more close together, I was on birth control, and we used the spermicide and condoms, and then here came baby #3, so we did the same thing again used all sorts of birth control, and then we even tried to figure out when I was ovulating, and then would NOT have sex, and then damn here comes #4, by now I am tired of being pregnant, and breast feeding, the only thing we knew to do was get fixed permanently, the same week baby #4 was born my husband had a vasectomy. The baby is now 4 and I wouldn't trade any one of them for the world!!!!

All 3 of my kids were oops, but I won't change anything. I love them all dearly. I think that there is a plan for everyone and that everything that happens doesso for a reason. I wasn't on the pill because I couldn't afford it and most insurance doesn't cover it(they want the extra money for another person to be covered). I had all kinds of plans that I wanted to try before I became a mother, but once I had my first child, everything changed, my focus became my child, then I had my second one and third one and now I am a stay at home mom. When the kids get older, I plan to try some of the adventures I wanted too, but I will probably be a little wiser, so who knows?

I think birth control is a wonderful option and more people should use it. However, having said that, I am the proud mother of 3 . The last 2 were BIG shocks. I do not think I wish I had lived my life before having them because once you have your child you can not immagine what life would be like without them. As far as I am concerned I am living my life every day . Is it the life I would have had if I had not had my kids......No , but I have a feeling it is far more fullfilling than that life would have been.

I do wish I had done more prior to having my first. I was not wise enough, and did not know what I wanted in life yet. Birth control is sometimes more complicated than some people think, but no, I don't think 7 "mistakes" are really mistakes.

I have a child at the age of 22. I used birth control. The condom broke and I became pregnant. I do not see how this has ruined my life like you make it seem would happen. You should not talk before being in someone else's shoes.

the pill is tricky if you throw up or have diharea it dosent have time to get in your system. Or if you are over weight it is not as effective. you have to take the pill at the same time every day. I had an unplanned pregnacy i was on the pill for 2yrs and poof baby on board. This is how i put it to my little sister think of every person you sleep with as the future parent of your child. I think things happen for a reason i know it sounds lame but its true. I was young and not in a great relationship but my son is my world and i have no regrets he in a way saved my life and gave me direction when at the time i had none.

I definatley thought twice before having another baby. I mean I only have one but I got this crazy hormonal feeling that I wanted another one soon after the first who was not planned. I soon came to my senses though and I took brith control for a while but it ruined mey sex drive so I use spermicide and we are more careful. I think 7 is alot of "mistakes" But I think you also have to accept that you are a parent after your first child mistake or not and try to live your life accodingly that doesn't mean you have to have another one right away or ever.

I don't think you are an a**, but I think you need to develop more of a "live and let live" attitude. I have 3 children, 2 were not planned. But neither was my career, or any of my pets, many of my vacations, and many other blessings in my life! I am happy w/ my life and wouldn't change it! I would suggest you loosen your tie, let your hair down and go w/ the flow SOMETIMES. You might discover that it is fun to live life w/out an agenda!
