I'm leaving my husband but I need help to where I would go for help. his violent towards me & our daughter. He doesn't care about us. Also he puts his family first in Pakistan. When they want anything he sends it straight away. But for us he doesn't care. He says we don't need it or can't afford. But for them he can afford anything at anytime. I'm afraid that he has another wife that he supports over there. They are eating much better than us, where sometimes we don't eat at all. I live in Australia & don't have any family or friends to turn to. Please help me.

You can go to a shelter for women and children and they will help you get started from there. If he is abusing you then you should get out of that. You can go to the police are to the hospital and they will direct you to a shelter for women and children. Good luck.

Call the local sheriffs office or police dept and tell them that you are planning to leave your violent husband. Explain to them that you there is a child involved and you need help getting away without him finding out where you are right away. They should be able to put you in contact with the local womans shelters and organizations that will help you retain custody until you can file in court for full custody. Also you might want to get in contact with the local victims advocate group in your county. They can do alot for you. Good luck and great job making the decision to get your child and yourself out!!! if you have to, go to the police and get a restraining order. there must be shelters for you and your daughter. Check if ther is a support group for persons in your situation. You are not in Pakistan, you are in Australia and there must be laws to protect you. Good luck.

if you have no family or friends then you need to find a shelter for women.... stay there and get a job until you can save enough money to get your own place.. if you have family anywhere else then try to contact them and ask for help.

Go to a battered women's shelter.
If you have a joint bank account, drain that sucker first.
