They are arrogant crack pots who think they are far more superior than others JUST because they are shown on that million-pixelated screen in your living room. Big deal. I can make more money staring at the wall.

I think a lot of actors are narcassistic.
Think about it, if you grow up always thinking that you need attention not just from a few, but from a few million, you become a tad bit self absorbed.
And most people are bored in their lives and live vicariously through celebrities.
I care more about the longevity of an ant than i do a celebrity.

because they know that people look up to them and they wanna make a change in the world ~ however sometimes they don't pay enought attention to the things they're saying and the way its portrayed. They're in the public eye all the time and while they have freedom of speech they also need to realize that the whole world is listening.

Everyone thinks that people care what they think. They just have a platform, to spew their crap. They don't even have their own opinions. Watch the mock UN scene in Team America as a reference.

I like that you differentiate between them and 'real people' The actors have no personality until they have a script. Untiil then, they are just badly dressed walking egos who think their opinions are worth hearing and that we hang on their every word.

Why would they not think that? People buy magazines and scandle papers to find the dirt on them. What more proof do they need to believe people want to know?

because they're always in the public eye...tv, magazines, newspapers, internet...on and on. too many people do care, is the problem.
