It's completely normal. Our pediatrician told us about it when our daughter was born. It's a combination of dead skins cells, oils, etc that collect there. It's not an infection. You don't have to clean it out with every diaper change. That will irritate the area. Just clean it during her baths. My daughter (4 1/2 months) has it all the time and there's never been a problem. If you're still concerned talk to you doctor.

It's normal. My 5 months old has the same thing (she had it since she was born), according to my docotr it's absolutely normal. It's NOT yeast infection. Ask a pediatrician if you are really concerned.

It is very normal I had a little girl to and the same thing happen. If you are worried about I would make an appointment with your doctor just to make sure it isn't something else, but I wouldn't rust her to the hospital just make an appointment if you have one soon just keep it and take her then. congratulations and good luck

It sounds like a yeast infection to me. I've read that it isn't uncommon in baby girls. I have two boys, so I can't speak from experience. I call and check with a pediatrician.

when my daughter was born, they said that I would noticed white stuff in her vagina - they said it was normal

If you are worried though, give the doctor's office a call, the nurses there can usually give you a good idea if this is normal or if the baby needs to see a doctor

Good luck!

Has she had a lot of ear infections and been on antibiotics? Might be a yeast infection. Happened to my sister when she was a baby.

Could be a yeast infection or just discharge. Either way ...go to the dr. and get it checked out.

That is normal. Just try to wipe along both sides of her when changing her diaper and bathing her.
