i think the refs have been awful in this world cup!

I truly hope not. The tournament has been a disaster in relation to refereeing performances. You would hope that for the biggest match of the tournament at least, that FIFA could dig up someone with a degree of competence.

I know that FIFA has been putting a ton of pressure on their reffs and sometimes they can't deal well with all of that pressure. Just look at the last game the U.S. played... three red cards! Sometimes a reff can call to many fouls and the game never really gets going but if a reff doesn't call enough fouls fights break out SERIOUSLY! However the World Cup Final will be refereed by hopefully the best reff in the world so it should definately NOT be spoiled.

I doubt it, but because of some weird calls in other matches, I´m sure the losing team and their fans will heavily question the calls made against them.
Reffing in the final of this World Cup is not a job I envy!

continually beloved Joubert so havent a difficulty with him. chuffed about Owens too, probably my 2d widely used. Owens is the perfect ref IMO at coping with gamers, 0.5 because he receives to the point and the different 0.5 being i have by no skill seen an 18 stone prop be decreased to the status of a schoolkid with the tellings off he provides.

Yes!!! I think FIFA choose experienced refs. There is a good and talented Singaporean ref but they did not choose him even though he refeere his matches quite well.

I certainly hope not, but the refs have a "reputation" to keep up, so they'll probably find a way.

refs will always make mad decicions. it all depends on who you root for. in any sport they do so. with american football the refs seem to always call against my teams.
so i expect something will get called that will make the other teams fans upset. and the team too.

Yes I do.. and I do agree that there are some bad referee-ing in SOME matches.. NOT ALL..
