i keep looking for free ringtones but you need to pay a fee per month... so does anyone know where i can get 100% really free ringtones?

No. Sorry. Jamster lets you download your very first one for free, but you need to use the internet on your phone to download it (so the ringtone itself is free, but you can't actually access it for free). Don't get sucked into Jamster, I did. They lie and use way too much fine print and aren't very clear about stuff.

Try Verizon's website and just download it from them for a couple bucks. It's better. Nothing in life is completely, no-strings-attached free.

Why not make your own out of your mp3's? I use a program called Audacity to crop and format the ringtone, then hook my phone up to my computer (via bluetooth) and transfer the files over. The program I use to transfer them is called Bitpim.
