It all depends on the situation. If he wreaks of alcohol or appears drunk then it is an act of desperation. If he seems okay, not vulgar then chivalry is not completely dead. Despite what they say, all men are not dogs, all men are not alike. You can find a nice guy in a club, after all, a club is supposed to be a place to have a good time, dance and just take the stress off.

If the person seemed to be in control of his/her wits I would take it as a compliment.
But then i would ask him/her what the entire bet was, and how much it was worth. Then I would demand half of the payment for permitting him/her to touch my hand without my express permission.
I would only spend any further time with him/her if the person was attractive and a good dancer.

Being a gentleman,I would take it as a compliment. In my younger days I have kissed the hand of many ladies in a club.I would ask her to dance. When she put out her hand for me to help her from her chair,I would help her up and then while her hand was still in mine,I would gently bring it to my lips and give it a gentle kiss on the back. While saying,Sorry, you always have to kiss the hand of a pretty lady. They ate it up.

You got wierd on the list somewhere, or maybe drunk & wierd? Desperation in guys isn't manifested the way girls think. A desperate guy isn't going to act like that, an inexperienced guy is. Desperation is more a function of how low you'd drop your standards. Either way, that's a stupid move.

it depend on how the guy did it...if he did it with elegance n a nice-ness 2 it then i wud take it as a compliment. if he just came up to you grabbed your hand n kissed it n then looked at you like if he wanted to jump ur bones then its an act of desperation....so to me it really depends how he did it!

A girl kissing on my hand? I ain't got no problem with that at all.
but it's kinda abnormal for a girl to come up with something like that..hahaha
I would assume that she really digs me or something. I wouldn't call her desperate 'cause when I'm really into somebody I just ain't gonna front and waste time.
peace baby.

It use to be consider chivalrous to kiss a ladies hand upon introduction. But, there are no knights in shinning Armour left so, I would make the bozo by me a straight shot of tequila and use it to clean off the back of my hand. Germs!! Yuck! Who's hand did he kiss before mine and where had there hand been.

That would depend on how she did it. If it was a wet, hungry kiss, with a pleading look in her eyes I would say desperation. If she slobbered on me I'd say she's drunk. If her eyes were wide open, near tears, I would say she's on cocaine.
In any case I would still take it as a compliment.

I would take it as a compliment. I see it as an act of someone admiring you. And I would say Thank You.
