Quoting from that wiki article: "Neoconservatism (or neocon) refers to the political movement, ideology, and public policy goals of "new conservatives" in the United States, that are relatively unopposed to "big government" principles and believe in limited restrictions on social spending."
-AND-
"The prefix "neo" can denote that many of the movement's founders, originally liberals, Democrats or from socialist backgrounds, were new to conservatism..."
With that in mind, can all people meeting that definition leave my party right now!!!! Domestically, I want small non-interventionist almost libretarian government devolved mostly to state & local control. Massive slashes to social spending, reworking all programs for "practical effect" which offers the hand up & tough-love if you don't take it. We should offer opportunity, not subsidy.
Overseas/defense, we're doing all the right things, but worried too much about what anyone else (world or public) think, and we could be getting things done much faster if we had the will to do it. I'm all for diplomacy when it can actually accomplish the mission rather than just delay & let the enemy get stronger before we have to go do it with force. When it's time to use force, I'm for massive overwhelming use that shows the full conventional combat capability of the US military till the mission is done & no crying from people that don't know what they're talking about & aren't willing to stand the line with us.
So anyway, whoever all these liberals new to the republican party are that drag us into defict spending & increase govt size & control of my life, and I've never met such a person, get the the hell out of my party. The tent ain't that big & we don't want your vote. You'll find a very accepting democratic party far more liberal than we are ready to welcome you & your vote. I'd rather stand on principle & lose than sell my political soul & the entire agenda just to beat the other guy, screw that.

Neo -Cons are the part of the conservative movement that are far right wing. THey believe in the messianic bible messages that tell us that the 2nd coming of CHrist will be in Israel and that the Neo Cons will ascend with Christ and the Jews will only have the opprtunity to ascend if they become Christians. \
Bush is the messianic leader and the war is a rightious one becauise it all leads to our being ready for the 2nd coming.
