Estate auctions are great places to buy good furniture at low prices. Most auctioneers maintain websites and often post photos and description of furniture items for upcoming auctions.
I am sure that there are many estate auctions in your area every weekend. Look in your local paper for dates, times, and locations along with lists of contents.
Antique furniture is one thing, but I have seen modern furniture sold dirt cheap at auctions.

Try www.craigslist.org and select your city or the nearest city, and search for items for sale. Search using keywords, such as "bed" bedroom" "bedroom suite" "bedroom furniture" or specific items, such as night stand etc. Best of luck to you.
