I have been talking a a lad for 11 months now by email, msn,phone and text. We both live at opposite ends of the country but i travelled to see a friend who lives near by him and we talked about meeting the week before i travelled but then all of a sudden he stopped talking to me with no explanation so i stayed for a week then came home and now he is talking to me again. Thing is i know he has a GF but he has said he's not happy but that he doesnt want to throw away what he has got for me as we havent met yet which is fair to say but i realy think i am falling in love with him badly, i get low when he doesnt text or call me and i am constantly checking my phone even at work. what do you guys think I should say to him when we next talk?

I think you should carry on you life and try and get yourself really busy so you do not have time to keep looking at your texts. Before you know it he will either text or somehow get in contact with you if he really wants to know you. Perhaps he doesn't like a girl chasing him, I know it maybe that you 'think' you aren't but you have to behave life a bloke to understand a bloke and vice versa. Life is too short to just wait around, you never know he might have good reasons which he feels he cannot tell you, always turn the situation around, it may help. Also if and when you see him talk about something that interests him and not you, they like to hear about themselves and what they like. It is hard, but worth it in the end. Good Luck!

now having only read 90% of your situation, it seems that as the others said he may be married happy or not and may just be using you to get horny and then going to his partner.
the best thing you can do is forget about him and move on. if he realy wanted to see you as friends or may be more he would have made the effort to see you when you were in his area.
you can do better. move on. and dump his sorry ***.
the old im in an unhappy relationship is the old excuse used by gutys who want more than one GFon the go.
the truth is they are with one girl that they have no intention of dumping but want to try and have another girl somewhere else for weekends away.
Very sad.
Personally i'm unhappily single, 32 in somerset. and personally i'd never cheat I've got a face that can't get one woman let alone more than thyat, but even if i could get more than one gf i'd still never cheat.

It's possible he''s married or attached, but personally I think it unlikely. I think it is much more likely that in fact he is not who he has pretended to be on-line. All of those handsome photo's with the chiselled looks he sent you... they're not him, and obviously if you met him then this would quickly be obvious. Move on and find somebody locally that isn't so into decieving that deserves your affections.
