Goldfish are cold water fish and tropical fish (bella shark) should have a heater. The sharks get quite large and jump as well!!! So putting the bella shark and goldfish together is not a good idea.

They are in the carp family and are quite peaceful fish. If you have a big enough tank, get another one or two so they can swim together in a school. They need a 55 gallon or larger when they get bigger. Keep the tank well covered. They like to jump.

Balas are omnivores, which means they need to eat plants as well as proteins. Their mouths are not big enough to eat feeder goldfish, at least not until they get much bigger. It just isn't necessary anyway since they don't need so much protein.

Here is more info on them;

No. Goldfish are cold water fish and a bala is tropical. Also the goldfish produces five time the amount of ammonia then the bala. This means you need a much larger tank then 20 gallons and the bala will most likely die from the waste produced or the cold water.

A school of balas need 125 + gallons, they reach 14+ inches. 2 fancy goldfish need 30. 2 common goldfish need a pond, they reach over 2 feet.

Finally, balas are tropical and goldfish are cold water, and you will get a plethora of problems apart from temperature if you try to keep them together. I would reccomend returing all the fish, and making a small tropical community with small fish

Usually goldfish make the water pretty dirty and other freshwater fish don't do very well with them. Bala sharks are also semi-aggressive and may attack your goldfish. As far as tank size goes, the general rule of thumb is one inch of fish per gallon of water.

No, goldfish grow big but bala sharks (which I assume your asking about) grow even bigger they need at least 55 gallons each.

I wouldn't try it Goldfish need cold water, and Bala Sharks need warm water. Plus it would be pretty crowded!

It might be cramped with space. A 20g is probably just enough room for 2 medium goldfish, alone.

im pretty sure that u could. if the shark or the gold fish started beating on each other, there is going to be plenty of room for them to swim away.
