Who thinks American youth should lead a new counter-culture revolt to show that what the yuppies who run this country are doing to us? They are screwing us over!

yeah, Yuppies are basically people who think they are better than everyone else! I've never seen them do anything good. We need people like Jim Morrison to lead us.

The "American Youth" (for the most part) are too stupid and self abosorbed to truly grasp the concept of revolution and counter-culture. All they know is their mass-media MTV-pop culture garbage. The very same garbage designed by the yuppies that supposedly run this country.
Are these yuppies forcing the youth into military service? No, the military is a voluntary organisation. Are these yuppies depriving the youth of food, medicine, or an education? No, the yuppie government has set up programs to insure that the youth (those under 18) can get food, health care, and an education. The yuppie government has even set up funds to insure that the youth can continue their education beyond high school through grants, scholarships, and subsidised loans. Are the yuppies silencing the youth, depriving them of free speech? No, the youth of today enjoy far greater freedom of expression than those of previous generations. If anything one could say the yuppies are "screwing" the youth by making life too easy.
Such a question is the result of an over-privileged and over-indulged generation concerned only with following the latest trend.

I think American Youth need to concentrate on their educations, and the future betterment of us all.

How original. Unfortunately, this was the same idea the hippies had in the 60's. Not to mention probably every other generation out there. Usually what happens is the "counter-culture" gets older and fatter and buys into the very things they were so against. That's the cycle of life. Just remember this question when you're in your 40's and 50's and see how original it is.
