Height changes with osteoprosis just like everything else can be changed by some disease/illness/changes over time. So in the end, height is merely superficial, just like beauty.
All that should matter is whether or not the people are in love, so it's not weird to be taller then the boyfriend.

I'm 5'11 it is so important to me that a guy be taller than me. However, it's not the height that should be the focus here. It should be wether or not you really like the guy. You two being together will rise over any obstacles such as a height issue.

Not weird at all. This is 2006, we don't live in the Dark Ages anymore, where the man had to protect the "delicate, dainty women." If you love each other, that's the only thing that should matter. All other superficial BS be damned.

Not at all, and your fella shows real maturity and self confidence by not feeling intimidated by you being taller than him. PS, I love tall woman, and although I am dedicated single until my son is on his own (I am a single dad) I would love to date a woman who was taller than me.
