What does it mean when...?

I hope you answerers in this category could help me...
This guy that I haven't seen in a while, and who we both kind of had things for each other recently sent me an email...albeit one of those chain letters, so not personally written. According to the "Sent To" line, he only sent it to me and his best friend Aaron, (although I guess it doesn't mean we were the only two...) I thought this would be a good way to start up communication with him, kind of like "re-breaking" the ice, so I emailed him back asking how he's been. It's been a while already, I'm not sure exactly, and he still hasn't written back. I sent the email the exact day I first saw it. It was short and sweet, just asking how he was doing, like I said.

I definitely don't feel like sending him another one because it seems like he doesn't want to talk, I guess. So what does it mean when a guy doesn't return something like this in this case? Thanks if you can help out! ~I appreciate the answers~

Which is exaclty why I'm NOT emailing him/ trying to contact him again. I'm not desperate or anything, just wondering. I only sent it once and I wasn't planning on sending it again unless I got some good answers here...

why dont you give it a try... then if he wont reply then dont bother. he's not worth it

Maybe he hasn't checked his mail call him on the phone or wait for him to call you don't act so desperate

he doesn't want to talk to you or he didn't get your email. you could write to see if he got it.

i wouldn't email him again. he's probably dating someone or not interest. once is enough!
