The crazy thing is htat they actually wear 2 pairs of trousers - one that goes below their *** and one normal ly that is covering it up. The same people tend to be the ones wearing hoodies even in the heat of summer. I believe it's down to a massive lack of confidence leading to a desire to conform with the pack & not be alienated from the gang. You may have noticed that these groups have a very strict dress code and do not like anybody that stands out or likes to a look slightly different.
It's ironic that given these are often the people who will refuse to go to school and actually learn something to improve their lives, as they're wearing a uniform and doing nothing else with their time except sitting down somewhere else anyway. They then go on to tell interviewers etc... of high flying aspirations, but have absolutely no idea how the world works and seem to not understand that having no education = no propects in the future.

I don't think it's a current trend, it's been going on for quite some time now, but I do laugh my butt off when I see these people "try" to walk!

Its a new trend set by a new brand of chav, there called emo's "meaning emotional" and they have the bad hair cuts to go with the bad dress sence.
emo's will only date emo's aswell, there like revolutionised grundger's.

I wondered that myself, the only thing I can think of is they must hot new underwear they want you to see, And it the pits when they try running from the law that way, but comical
