Every time if i install a new software in my machine. Next thing i do is open msconfig and try to see my start up list. Most of the time msconfig help me in keep my machine in good condition.

To make your pc boot faster by eliminating startup programs..
Also for troubleshooting purposes like disabling certain drivers to correct issues...

You can disable alot of annoying programs that popup when u start the computer

the only thing i do with it is turn off certain programs from starting when windows starts like realplayer update manager, quicktime player, etc..
