IF, you have the Solid Copper Pennies they would be worth about $35,000 for Scrap.
Thought I should add, I said ABOUT! This just estimating. You would actually need to know how much 1,000 pennies weigh and X$3.50 a pound; that was Wednesday price in New York. If, I remember correct the last ALL Copper penny was manufactured "around" 1981. After that they Copper Plated Zinc.
