She will hear you come in and still be mad at you, so if you're having fun and the football game score is 27 to 28 but your team has 2 time outs with 13 seconds to go, and your bet of $ 100.00 will give you a return of $1000.00 ( your rental is do the next day ) My advice, stay there enjoy the beers and collect the cash. Wait for the 13 seconds and maybe 2 minutes to collect and then step on the gas, reach the speed of sound as you pass her house but make sure you stop at your friends house, because she will still be mad.

if you are traveling at the speed of sound then your girlfriend will here u approaching her, since you are travelling at a speed equal to the speed of sound , but not more than that, which means that you still have to speed up to break the sound barrier to leave the the sound behind you and reach you girlfrined before she hears the sound.

if you are actually traveling AT the speed of sound, because of the doppler effect, she will hear you approach as you arrive. If you are traveling FASTER than the speed of sound, she will hear your approach after you get there.

It depends on the rate at which you came up to the speed of sound. If you started moving slowly,no,but if you instantly jumped from zero mph to the speed of sound, you would create a compression shokewave, everything bending out of your way.She would then hear you coming, for sure...science tom

That's correct. You only hear the sonic boom after the plane has passed. When supersonic missiles were used against London in World War 2, you had the eerie experience of hearing the rocket engines still whining after it had crashed.

she would not, you would be outrunning your own sound or traveling at the same speed. though i hope your girlfriend is at the end of long, flat piece of incredibly highway, 'cuz otherwise you're not getting there at the speed of sound or alive. take your pick.
