Why do beautiful people think that they're better than the rest of us 'regular folk'?

That's so stereotypical. Thinking there are only 2 categories of people; "beautiful people" & "regular folk". What about "different people"? Or whatever else.

And not all "beautiful people" think they're better than the rest of the "regular folk". Yes, "beautiful people" have more money than other people, and have better social skills (in most stereotypical cases), but that doesn't mean they don't have brains. I know a ton of "beautiful people" who get straight a's in school and are some of the smartest people i know.


And then "regular folk" might just not think as high of themselves and "beautiful people". It's mostly about confidence. Looks may not last for ever, but inner beauty && all that does.

Many beautiful people are regular folk. I grew up in a house with 3 sisters. Me being one of them. My older sister is very "beautiful". Men flock to her. But she also flirts like you wouldn't believe. And many women can't stand her. She drives me crazy at times. But all these people that think she thinks she is better than the rest are wrong. My sister "The Beautiful Queen" is very insecure. She has been told her whole life how beautiful she is and she doesn't feel comfortable being herself. She doesn't know what else to do to impress people but be beautiful because that's how society has always treated her. I blame all the regular folk that treat beauty on the outside as a God like quality. They suffer more than we regular folk. When the lookers are gone my sister is very regular, down to earth and very beautiful inside like the rest of the beautiful regular folk. I hope this helps.

Depends on which type of beautiful. The people who think they're better than the rest aren't 'beautiful'. They got an ugly personality so they're 'ugly'! You should judge people by the way they are and not by their looks.

These people believe this because they are ugly on the inside. They pick on people of lesser beauty because they are tring to cover up thier bown faults. Everybody has something that makes them at least a little bit ugly even if it is hidden from the rest of the world.

cause people have been making such a big deal about them for so long that they actually think they are better than the rest of us. Kind of annoys me, but then I think about how they're gonna look in a few years (if you doubt me go to a class reunion) and you'll get to laugh your butt off and realize that you're pretty good after all.

I don't think that I'm better than you just because I'm a bit more beautiful than most. I don't brag about the $$$, the cars, the education, etc. If I'm part of the upper echelon, that's just thew ay it is. Some have it; some don't. And I'm lucky to be a 'have.'

Really? Maybe you're just lookin on one side of the court, not EVERY beautiful ppl thinks like that..But if you're askin why some of them thinks that, it just becoz they're insecure. That's all. They're afraid that they dun hav any excess other than beauty, so there you go. ^^

Umm let me see, because they're just stuck up like that. Not to mention, they are probably so insecure themselves despite their outer beauty and want to make themselves feel better by making others feel bad.

Because they're ignorant and lack the knowledge that other people have feelings too. They're also very egotistic, and assume that because they get more attention, they're just better than everyone else.
